schOPE multiscope tool

schOPE multiscope tool

schOPE! A multitool, multiview, multichannel waveform, frequency, and stereo phase analyzer that lets you superimpose and view multiple audio signals from every dimension.

Scope pre- and post-compression signals together to see if you’re flattening peaks. Scope kick drum and bass together for EQ scooping. Scope DI and amped guitar signals together to fix phase problems.

Isolate and zoom in on exactly the part of the signal you want to see. Freeze the display and use the time offset knobs to visually scrub frequency changes.

“We make a ton of cool plugins here but to be honest, the one I use more than any other is schOPE.”    – Schwa

VST Updated: v1.54 29 October 2008. Better frequency graph calibration.
AU Updated: v1.53 3 October 2008. Fixes crash when opening browser from plugin.

Download PDF manual (included in installer).

Note: schOPE displays up to 4 channels of input. Most DAW hosts will load schOPE on any sort of track, but some hosts will only load a 4-channel plugin on a 4-channel track, and some hosts (for example Brainspawn Forte) will not load a 4-channel plugin at all. For convenience, a stereo-only version of Schope is here. The use and licensing are exactly the same as for the 4-channel version. You can install both the stereo and 4-channel versions alongside each other, and both versions will recognize the same license key.

*Note: schOPE makes extensive use of the SSE2 processor instruction set for maximum CPU efficiency. Older CPUs (notably the pre-64 Athlon XP series) that do not support SSE2 will not recognize it as a loadable plugin. A less optimized build that will run on older machines can be downloaded here. There is no difference in usage or licensing terms.
