Fe26 and Remanence 4.1.3 are available now, with new hardware-inspired interfaces.
Both plugins began with clean vector-drawn interfaces. These new designs give each one a more physical identity while keeping the controls direct and familiar.
The important part has not changed. The DSP, parameter identities, saved settings, and sound are unchanged from 4.1.2. Existing sessions should open as before; they will simply show the new interfaces.
Fe26: a focused transformer faceplate
Fe26 remains deliberately simple: Input, Drive, Output, Link, and 4x oversampling. The new faceplate puts those controls into a focused transformer-style design without adding modes or changing the way the plugin works.
Remanence: compact and Advanced panels
Remanence now opens in a compact tape-machine panel for the controls used most often: Input and Output, tape speed, tape formula, hiss, Link, and 4x oversampling.
Open the Advanced panel when you want access to Bias, HF Adjust, Hiss Level, EQ Standard, and Hiss Mode. The interface expands to reveal those calibration controls and folds back down when they are not needed.
Alongside the new artwork, both 4.1.3 releases include refinements to linked Input/Output automation and host parameter reporting. Remanence also has improved resizing behavior for its compact and expanded layouts.
The update is free for existing owners, and existing licenses remain valid. Evaluation copies are fully functional.
