Maintenance updates for resizing, installation, and CMX September 20, 2026

We’ve released another round of maintenance updates, focusing on window resizing, installation, and a CMX audio bug.

  • Smoother resizing on macOS. Fixed the jumping and back-and-forth movement that could happen while dragging a plugin window larger or smaller, especially at larger display sizes. This affected both CLAP and VST3.

  • More consistent plugin windows. Fixed a Mac issue that could let different plugins interfere with each other’s editor behavior, and standardized the corner resize control across the range.

  • Oligarc Suite’s Mac installer now includes CLAP. The missing installation option is restored for all four suite plugins: Oligarc, Chorus, Drive, and Phaser. They share one installer and are all at version 4.1.2. Oligarc Filter remains a separate download.

  • CMX starts and resets correctly. Fixed a bug that could produce unexpectedly high audio output when loading or resetting CMX, plus a related problem that could leave it bypassed when it should be processing.

We checked these builds in REAPER on macOS, Windows, and Linux, including loading, audio processing, saved settings, and representative window-resizing checks.

The current public releases are 4.1.2, except Hot Glass, which is now 4.1.4. Updated downloads are available for macOS, Windows, and Linux.

CMX users: If you downloaded CMX 4.1.2 before this announcement, please download it again to get the corrected build. The version number remains 4.1.2.
