Sculpto, Spectro, and TinMan v4.0.0 are available now. With these final three releases, the Version 4 upgrade of the established Stillwell Audio plugin catalog is complete.
These updates bring all three products into our current macOS and Windows installer line and onto the current .license system. As with the other Version 4 releases, they are free updates for existing customers.
The visible part of this project arrived one download at a time. Underneath those version numbers was a much larger renewal of the catalog: rebuilding, testing, signing, packaging, and revisiting products that have earned a place in studios over many years.
Across the upgrade program, the work included native Apple Silicon builds, modern Windows support, Retina and HiDPI graphics, improved VST3 and AAX behavior, drag-and-drop license installation, and a long list of smaller host, automation, display, and installer fixes.
We are proud of the engineering, but the part that matters most is what did not change. The goal was never to replace the sound or working character of these plugins. It was to carry them forward carefully, so the tools people already know can keep doing their jobs on current systems.
A rolling catalog upgrade also means that some products arrive sooner than others. For a while, the Stillwell Audio lineup was spread across generations, and we know that customers waiting for a particular plugin sometimes had to wait longer than they wanted. Thank you for giving us the time to finish the work properly.
We are especially grateful to everyone who installed early builds, reported host-specific problems, sent screenshots and logs, and came back for maintenance releases when an edge case slipped through. That feedback made the finished catalog better.
With the final three products released, the V4 badges are also disappearing from the product cards. They helped mark the transition while the catalog was mixed. Now that the journey is complete, Version 4 is simply the baseline for the upgraded line.
Finishing the upgrade does not mean the work stops. Maintenance, compatibility work, and new development continue. It does mean we can close this chapter with the whole established catalog on the current foundation—and we are very glad to have reached that point.
