Stillwell Channel

Channel gathers the moves that recur through a mix: set headroom, remove unwanted extremes, add color when it helps, then shape dynamics and tone. The flow is easy to follow from input through filters, color, expansion, EQ, compression and output.

Its four-band EQ and stereo-linked compressor can change order, so you can decide whether tone should feed compression or be shaped after it. The expander handles quieter spill, while an external key and key filters let the compressor react to another source. Tube and Iron are Stillwell voicings with their own behavior, not copies of named gear.
